Phasor Ipswich is looking to recruit a proactive and professional delivery driver. Phasor are an independent electrical wholesaler based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Experience in electrical wholesale would be desired but not essential.

Transportation: Safely transporting goods from a warehouse or distribution centre to businesses or residential addresses.

Loading and Unloading: Loading items onto the delivery vehicle and unloading them at the destination.

Route Planning: Planning the most efficient route for deliveries to ensure timely arrival at each destination.

Vehicle Maintenance: Performing basic maintenance tasks on the delivery vehicle, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and ensuring overall vehicle functionality.

Documentation: Keeping accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, signatures, and any other relevant information.

Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and helpful during deliveries.

Communication: Communicating effectively with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any issues or changes in delivery schedules.

Adherence to Regulations: Adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.

Problem Solving: Resolving any delivery-related issues or concerns that may arise during the course of the job.

Physical Stamina: Possessing the physical stamina necessary to lift and move heavy items repeatedly throughout the day.

Assisting the warehouse team: Where necessary, the role will include jobs such as storing goods, unloading goods, and unpackaging goods to present the warehouse appropriately.

Driving license – REQUIRED minimum of 7 years
